I have been interested in infrared photography for black & white since the days of infrared film. More recently I have been using digital cameras permanently converted with a 720nm fllter. These photos were all taken that way.

FE 180 A boat with a story. Built ca World War II and used until about 30 years ago. Once the most powerful boat on the beach used for catching large quantities of herrings.

The Botanical Brasserie at Kew Gardens within the former museum facing the lake opposite the Palm House.

Despite all the new, inventive and modern architecture around Battersea Power Station, for me, nothing compares to the atmoshere, drama and sheer power of the original structure.

Modern (2018) US Embassy designed by James Timberlake. Is a very environmentally designed building and its outside 'sails' provide many interesting architectural patterns.

A small lovely area between the cliffs and the Castle.

This asymmetric Church was built to house the relics of Saint Nicholas whch were stolen from Myra in 1067.

Old Bari, courtyard with a statue of Padre Pio. Saint Pio of Pietrelcina, was an Italian priest and saint. Also a location where Bari ladies sit and make Orichetti.

The UNESCO recognised city of Matera is one of the oldest cities in the world with continuous occupation since several millenia BC.

Mangersta Sea Stacks, Harris

All the stones are of local Lewisian Gneiss. their surfaces are highly and beautifully varied with many swirls and varied texture.

A high point of the visit, his stone monument dates from around 2900BC. It is one of Scotlands most impr4essive monuments.

St Andrew's Church, Alfriston. This large cruciform church, known as the "Cathedral of the Downs", dates from about 1360 and has been only minimally altered.

St Michael & All Angels Church, Berwick. This 12th-century church has a famous set of wall murals painted by the Bloomsbury Group.

St Andrew's Church, Bishopstone. There is evidence that this is the unnamed Sussex minster from which the relics of the late C7 martyr, St Leofwynn or Lewinna, were stolen around 1060 by a Flemish monk.

The Birnam Oak is a 600yr old tree, one of the last remaining trees in Birnam Wood made famous in Shakespeare's Macbeth.
