Chiddingly Parish Church. The Perpendicular Gothic Revival tower bears the oldest of three stone spires in Sussex. There is a marble and stone memorial to Sir John Jefferay who died in May 1578 and who was the Chief Baron of the Exchequer under Elizabeth I.
