The gardens were planted in mid-May and, despite the subsequent weather extremes, the majority of the plants have established well and are flowering.
As of mid-August 2026, construction of the Garden is almost complete with the last few items from the Road Safety audit soon to be completed. The information boards have been installed and the removal of the fencing and opening to the public is foreseen to be early September.
